The SwitchBot Curtain Rod 3 is a practical smart motor for curtains and drapes that installs directly onto a rod-style curtain rail. After adding it to the SwitchBot app, simply mount the device and perform an easy calibration following the instructions on your phone. If you use double curtains, two devices are required for full control of both sides.
Operation is extremely convenient – open or close your curtains directly in the app, or use the SwitchBot Remote, available separately. In Quiet Mode, noise levels reach only 25 dB, so the device will not disturb you even in the bedroom. The Touch & Go function detects when you manually pull the curtain, and the motor automatically completes the movement for you.
The SwitchBot app also offers useful automations: you can set up to 5 schedules, or an unlimited number when using the optional hub. A beta light sensor feature is also available, allowing operation to adapt to ambient lighting. When connected to the SwitchBot Hub Mini, you can use voice control via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri Shortcuts, as well as integration with SmartThings, IFTTT, and other devices in the SwitchBot ecosystem.
