The MC100CM Media Converter transforms optical signals 100BASE-FX into 100Base-TX copper cable signals, and vice versa. Compliant with IEEE 802.3u standards, this converter employs a multimode fiber with SC connectors, ensuring efficient data transmission over long distances. It supports fast transmission speeds at a wavelength of 1310nm.

This device can function as a standalone unit or be rack-mounted in a 19'' TP-LINK cabinet. It features auto MDI/MDI-X crossover on the TX port and automatic speed negotiation for full-duplex connections. LED indicators on the front panel provide operational status information. The MC100CM can transmit optical signals over a distance of up to 2 km using multimode fiber.
