The AXAGON Copper Heat Sink with Fan is designed for optimal cooling of fast M.2 SSD drives, especially NVMe. This versatile cooler can be used with M.2 drives measuring 22 x 80 mm. Supplied thermal pads ensure effective heat dissipation for both single-sided and dual-sided M.2 SSDs.
The core of the heat sink features copper fins with an aluminum shell and stands 8.6 mm tall. Inside the casing, a PWM-controlled fan connects to the motherboard with a 4-pin power connector. The fan speed can automatically adjust based on the temperature, conserving energy and reducing noise.
This copper-based heat sink, coupled with a metal frame, significantly aids in dissipating heat generated by an M.2 SSD during operation, reducing the drive's temperature by up to 30°C. This not only prolongs the lifespan of the M.2 SSD but also prevents slowdowns due to thermal throttling.
Compatible with both AXAGON M.2 adapters and M.2 (NGFF) sockets on motherboards, this heat sink ensures maximum cooling efficiency by dissipating heat from both sides of the M.2 drive, thanks to its metal frame.
