A lightweight, compact 4-port USB hub with an elegant matte plastic housing easily and quickly connects up to four USB devices to a computer at the same time.
The permanently attached 1.2 m USB cable is suitable for use with a desktop computer.
The package includes a power supply/charger with a USB Type-A 5V/2A output and a 1.5 m micro USB cable. The advantage is that the included charger and cable can be used simultaneously, for example to directly charge a mobile phone or tablet.
Mobile phones, tablets, power banks, and other devices can be charged with up to 2A current (depending on the charger used) from any hub port thanks to USB Battery Charging 1.2 support.
It can handle permanent connection of several external drives even without external power to the hub. After connecting the power adapter, you can work with up to three external drives simultaneously.
Transversely placed USB ports with ample spacing allow direct connection of large USB devices without issues.
It can also work as a standalone charging hub and charge USB devices from the power adapter even when the computer is switched off or disconnected from the mains.

Hub power mode via USB cable (bus-powered):
Bus power from USB is sufficient to connect low-power USB devices (mouse, keyboard, card reader, flash drive, etc.) or self-powered devices (printer, scanner, 3.5" external drive) to all four ports.
In this power mode, the USB hub can handle up to two 2.5" HDDs simultaneously.
Charging mobile devices (including iPad) is possible in this power mode, but the charging current reaches only up to 0.9 A, in some cases slightly above 1 A (depending on the computer).
Hub self-powered charging mode from the included USB charger (self-powered):
In this power mode, the USB hub can handle three 2.5" HDDs. For reliable long-term operation of the hub, however, we recommend connecting up to two 2.5" external drives at once.

Standalone powered hub mode without connection to a computer (charging hub):
With or without a computer connection, the hub powered by the USB charger works as a standalone powered USB charging hub.
