It is built on the proven ASMedia ASM1164 chipset with native SATA technology support and hassle-free installation on both Windows and Linux.
Thanks to the PCI-Express 3.0 x2 interface, you get sufficient data bandwidth up to 4 GB/s for smooth data transfers. The card supports Hot-Plug, NCQ, TRIM, and Port Multiplier (Command Based Switching), and allows booting from connected drives (BIOS/UEFI). Four LED activity indicators and a header for connecting case LEDs make operation monitoring easy.
