This PCI‑Express controller adds four independent SATA III ports to your PC with peak speeds up to 6 Gb/s (600 MB/s). Thanks to the ASMedia ASM1164 chipset, it supports a wide range of features and is compatible with SATA I/II/III devices including SSDs, HDDs, and optical drives.
Installation is simple — in most systems it works without additional drivers. The package includes two brackets (full-height and low-profile), so you can mount the controller in both standard and compact cases. For drive activity monitoring there are 4 LEDs and also 4× 2‑pin headers for your case HDD LEDs.
