Ubiquiti Multimode SFP+ Module is a set of two multimode SFP+ inserts from Ubiquiti. These inserts support an 850 nm wavelength and enable a maximum transmission distance of 300 meters. They provide a data rate of 10 Gbps and are compatible with all Ubiquiti devices with an SFP+ slot and with other manufacturers’ devices that do not block third‑party inserts.
Optical module provisioning
If you need to exceed a distance of 300 meters, consider using single‑mode UFiber 1G or 10G modules and BiDi models to make the most of your existing infrastructure. For shorter distances, we recommend using multimode UFiber 1G or 10G modules to reduce costs.
