Kidde K5CO Carbon Monoxide Detector features a top-notch Kidde electrochemical sensor which guarantees a 10-year lifespan. Thanks to battery power, the detector can be placed at the optimal location in a room. CO levels are signaled by optical (red LED) and acoustic (85 dB) alarms. The detector remembers recorded values above 100 PPM, allowing the user to check for CO presence during their absence.

The detector is equipped with a test/reset button used to verify device functionality and reset the alarm. The control system monitors the sensor, circuits, and battery status. If malfunctioning or the battery level is low, a yellow LED will light up and a warning signal will be sounded.

The specially designed casing allows for wall mounting or placement on a flat surface, such as a nightstand. After 10 years from activation, the device will notify you of the need for replacement.

Kidde K5CO meets the Polish standard PN-EN 50291-1:2018+AC 2021 and is marked with a construction sign B, confirmed by the CNBOP-PIB certificate. It is also BSI certified according to the standard BS EN 50291-1:2018.
