A SATA M.2 drive can also be connected using an external adapter like the AXAGON RSS-M2SD.

Included is a USB-C to USB-C cable with an attached USB-C to USB-A reduction, enhancing the adapter's versatility for connecting to any USB port on your computer.

The cloning function allows the adapter to operate as a standalone device for convenient disk duplication without a computer. Clone direction is adjustable via a switch to clone contents between NVMe M.2 and SATA disks. This makes it effortless to transfer entire systems including operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) from one drive to another.
