The KIDDE 2030-DCR carbon monoxide detector is designed for continuous and safe home protection. The advanced Kidde electrochemical sensor ensures accurate CO concentration measurement and up to 10 years of operation. Thanks to battery power, you can easily place it in the optimal location and stay protected even during power outages.
At hazardous CO concentrations, the device activates a 85 dB acoustic alarm and visual signaling (red LED). It stores information about exceeding 100 PPM, so you can easily check if a gas leak occurred while you were away. The built-in auto-diagnostic system continuously monitors the sensor, internal circuits, and battery status; in case of a fault or low battery, the yellow LED flashes and a warning tone sounds.
Convenience is enhanced by the test/reset button and the option to quickly check response using CO test gas. Thanks to the thoughtful design, the detector can be mounted on a wall or placed on a flat surface (e.g., a nightstand). After 10 years from activation, the device will notify you that replacement is required.
