The treats are made from milk of free-range Himalayan cows. The milk is cooked (fat removal and pasteurization), then curdled with a small amount of salt and lime juice (only 0.01% in total). This is followed by several days of pressing to remove moisture and then drying in a smokehouse for 20–30 days, which ensures the typical hardness and a gently smoky aroma.
