Port configuration for practical deployment:
The switch operates in Plug & Play mode and supports Auto MDI/MDI‑X, Flow control and MAC auto‑learning. The VLAN mode helps logically separate traffic (e.g., cameras vs. the rest of the network), and EXTEND mode allows extending PoE and data transmission up to 250 m (at the cost of reduced port speed). If PoE power is insufficient, the device can intelligently disconnect PoE ports by priority (starting from the highest port number) to keep within a safe power limit. The metal construction and passive cooling support long-term operation in industrial environments.
