The unit works on the principle of saltwater electrolysis: a precisely measured amount of salt (sodium chloride) is added to the pool, and the water then passes through an electrolytic cell that continuously generates chlorine. The chlorine is released directly into the water, where it helps eliminate bacteria, viruses, and algae while also oxidizing organic impurities.
For easy operation, the saltwater system is equipped with an automatic timer. It also includes a programmable self-cleaning cycle that helps keep the electrolytic cell in good condition. A polycarbonate cover protects the control panel from damage.
Important: The saltwater system operates only together with a filtration unit and requires an appropriate flow rate.
