Marimex spa pH minus is a powdered product for lowering the water pH in a hot tub or pool to the ideal range of 6.8–7.2. It helps prevent mineral cloudiness, limescale buildup, increased water irritation, and an unpleasant chlorine smell.
If the water is too alkaline (pH higher than 7.2), precipitates, cloudiness, and limescale may form; bathing comfort also worsens and the water may smell strongly of chlorine. Marimex spa pH minus is intended for regular pH adjustment so that the water remains clear and pleasant.
Dosage and use:
- To lower pH by 0.2, dose approx. 15 g per 1 m³ (1000 l) of water.
- First dissolve the dose in a plastic watering can, then slowly pour it into the pool/hot tub with filtration switched on.
- Wait until the water has been sufficiently mixed by the filtration.
- If the pH does not reach the required value, repeat the procedure.
- During application, it is necessary to ensure no persons are present in the water.
- For guidance: 250 g of product corresponds to approximately a measuring cup volume of 150 ml.
