The ProStar Profi 6 sand filter system (formerly BlackStar 6) is inspired by the natural principle of filtration through rock layers – water flows through the filter media where impurities are trapped, and only clean, filtered water returns to the pool. For consistently high performance, we recommend backwashing at least once per week to prevent dirt from settling in the sand.
The filter tank holds approximately 33–35 kg of filter sand and is made of high-quality PP (polypropylene) – it is seamless and resistant to corrosion and commonly used pool chemicals. The system is equipped with a pressure gauge, a drain valve, and an easy-to-use 6-way valve integrated into the tank lid. A plastic base for installation at the mounting location is also included.

Notice: The filtration unit is supplied without filter sand and hoses as standard. If you don’t have them, we recommend purchasing them at the same time.
Energy-saving tip: If you use a reduced electricity rate (off-peak), run the filtration during the discounted tariff period. A timer plug can also help with automatic on/off switching.
