The blue solar cover helps heat the pool water thanks to its bubble structure, which enhances the effect of the sun’s rays. At night it reduces water evaporation, limits the loss of pool chemicals, and slows cooling; at the same time it partially protects the surface from debris.
Sunlight passes through the solar cover and warms the water directly beneath the surface. The bubble structure acts like tiny lenses in sunlight, helping the water temperature rise faster.
After dark, the cover helps reduce heat loss and prevents evaporation of both water and chemicals. It also serves as a simple barrier against some debris falling into the pool. The cover is made of a blue bubble polyethylene thermal insulating sheet.
