The Steril Pool 36 W UV lamp is an effective add-on for a pool filtration circuit that uses UVC radiation to help destroy algae, molds, viruses, yeasts, and bacteria in the water. Thanks to this, it can significantly reduce pool chemical consumption by up to 80% and contribute to cleaner, healthier water.
The unit contains a special UVC lamp which, once connected to the power supply, emits ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nm. Pool water is pushed through the unit, where it is exposed to UV radiation that is lethal to most microorganisms in the water. UV sterilization effectively reduces the presence of unwanted organisms and supports more stable water quality.
By installing a UV lamp in the filtration circuit, the use of pool chemicals can be significantly reduced. For proper operation, it is recommended to regularly check pool water parameters by testing and to follow correct dosing of chemical agents. The internal UVC bulb is a consumable part; its service life is up to 8,000 hours (if properly tested by the seller).
