Explorer Dog Himalayan dental chews with flaxseed are made from the milk of free-range Himalayan cows. The milk is first boiled (to remove fat and for pasteurization), then curdled with a small amount of salt and lime juice (only 0.01% in total). This is followed by pressing for 2–3 days and long drying/light smoking for 20–30 days, which gives the treat its typical hardness and a gently smoky taste.
Thanks to the high hardness, the dog mechanically scrapes off plaque while chewing, helping to reduce tartar buildup. The treat is also easy to digest and naturally nutritious.
