The Walachia Forge model kit offers fun creative building along with an insight into the history of folk architecture. Precisely machined pine strips are used to create the timbered walls, while the plywood pieces are used for the roof, gables, galleries and terraces. Cardboard cut-outs with printed paper designs form the windows, while the functional doors are glazed with film.
The model is assembled according to a simple illustrated instruction manual with symbols showing the individual steps. The manual also includes short chapters about construction and the history of folk architecture. Glue for wood and paper is not included.
The finished forge is a beautiful addition to a child's room, a backdrop for playing with figures, animals or toy cars, and can also become part of a traditional Christmas nativity scene.
