Shelly Presence Gen4 takes the smart home to the next level: unlike common PIR sensors, it uses a 60–64 GHz radar to detect true presence, so automations won’t turn off lights or air conditioning when you’re quietly sitting, reading, or watching TV. With mapping and adjustable zones, you can create precise scenarios for different parts of a room.
The device allows detailed sensitivity and performance tuning, filters unwanted movement near the floor, and can ignore smaller objects (e.g., pets or robot vacuums). The built-in light sensor also distinguishes dark/dim/bright, so lighting scenes react not only to presence but also to current conditions.
