Shelly Wave i4 DC works as an input reader without a relay – it is not intended to switch a load directly, but to control other Z-Wave devices in your network. It is ideal if you want to keep traditional switches while gaining modern automation and scene capabilities.

With 4 inputs and the Multi-Click function, you can assign up to 16 different actions for various press combinations (e.g., single press, double click, long press, etc.). The module also monitors input states, giving you a more accurate overview of system behavior.

Communication is based on the modern Z-Wave 800 chip, and the device supports Z-Wave Long Range for significantly extended range. Easy network inclusion is provided by SmartStart (QR code), while communication security is protected by S2 authentication and AES-128 encryption. OTA updates without disassembly are also supported.
