The Schneider Electric APC SmartSlot Dry Contact I/O card is designed for UPS systems with a SmartSlot (up to 160 kVA). It allows you to connect external triggers and signaling devices and at the same time automate responses to UPS events—for example, switching a relay during a power outage, an alarm condition, or a status change.
It also includes 2 universal I/O (UIO) ports that support optional environmental sensors and Dry Contact I/O accessories for further expansion.
