The blade made from American powder steel CPM 3-V with a satin finish is known for exceptional toughness – helping minimize the risk of chipping or cracking during heavy-duty tasks. The contoured Kray-Ex handle (a durable thermoplastic elastomer) does not absorb moisture or odors, won’t crack, and won’t rot. Deep diamond texturing contributes to a firm grip, and the integrated guard protects fingers from slipping onto the blade.
A prominent steel pommel at the end of the handle serves as a striking surface (e.g., for breaking). Included is a rigid Secure-Ex sheath for safe storage and carry.
