The RJ45 1Gbe Multimode SC Media Converter allows the conversion of an optical 1000BASE-SX signal to a copper cable 1000Base-T signal and vice versa. It adheres to IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-SX standards using multimode fiber optic with SC connectors. This media converter ensures rapid data transmission speed over wired networks according to the short-haul optical transmission specification (SX) and operates at a wavelength of 850nm. This converter can function as a standalone device or be mounted in a TP-LINK 19'' rack. It features automatic crossover capability (Auto MDI/MDI-X) on the TX port. LED indicators on the front panel show the operating status of the device. Utilizing a multimode fiber optic, the MC200CM transmits the optical signal over a distance of up to 0.55 km.
