The Media Converter MC220L converts optical signal 1000BASE-SX/LX to electrical signal 10/100/1000Base-T and vice versa. It operates according to IEEE802.3ab and IEEE802.3z standards, and supports multimode and single-mode optical fibers with LC connectors.
The Media Converter MC220L is a useful device for converting optical and electrical signals. It can function as a standalone device or be mounted in a TP-LINK cabinet. The TX port features automatic crossover functionality (Auto MDI/MDI-X). LED indicators on the front panel display the operational status.
The MC220L allows signal transmission over multimode fibers up to 0.55 km and single-mode fibers up to 10 km.
