The detector is equipped with a built-in battery that does not require replacement for the entire lifespan of the device, allowing it to be installed in an optimal place in the room and ensuring protection even during power outages. Exceeding the allowed CO level is indicated visually (red LED) and audibly (loud, pulsing alarm of 85 dB). The device's memory stores data of CO concentration exceeding 100 PPM, allowing the user to detect if carbon monoxide emission occurred during their absence.
The detector contains a test button for verifying device functionality and resetting the alarm. The monitoring system continuously checks the sensors, internal circuits, and battery status. In case of malfunction or low battery, the yellow LED indicator lights up and an audible warning signal is activated.
Thanks to its specially designed construction, the detector can be mounted on the wall or placed on a flat surface such as a nightstand. It features a tamper-lock that reminds the user to replace the device 10 years after the power source activation.
