BRITA MAXTRA PRO Hard Water Expert filters are specially designed for hard and very hard water. They improve the taste and aroma of water, reduce limescale formation and help keep your kettles and coffee machines in better condition. They are compatible with BRITA Aluna, Marella, Style, Elemaris and Flow jugs, as well as the Glass jug.

Thanks to advanced 4-stage filtration, you get water suitable for everyday drinking and cooking:

• Fine pre-filter mesh captures larger impurities such as sand and rust.
• Natural activated carbon from coconut shells reduces chlorine and its compounds for a cleaner taste and aroma.
• Ion exchange beads provide up to 50% higher hardness reduction compared with MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance, reduce metals such as lead and copper, and soften the water.
• Additional filter mesh more effectively captures fine particles for even cleaner water.

One filter replaces up to 150 single-use bottles (1 l) and uses a housing and body made from 50% bioplastic certified by ISCC PLUS. BRITA products have a NIZP-PZH hygienic certificate. By recycling used cartridges through the BRITA programme, you help protect the environment.
