Kidde K7CO Carbon Monoxide Detector
Kidde K7CO Carbon Monoxide Detector
Kidde K7CO Carbon Monoxide Detector signals an exceeded CO level both visually (red LED) and acoustically (loud sound alarm at 85 dB). The device's memory can record CO concentrations exceeding 100 PPM, ensuring you know if there was a carbon monoxide leak in the room during your absence.
The device is equipped with a test/reset button to check functionality and reset the alarm. A control system monitors the sensor, internal circuits, and battery status. In case of a malfunction or low battery charge, a yellow LED indicator flashes with a warning sound.
The detector is shock-resistant, making it suitable for use in homes, caravans, and boats. After 10 years from activation, it will notify you of the need to replace the device.
The Kidde K7CO is marked with the construction mark B, confirming compliance with the Czech standard PN-EN 50291-1:2018+AC 2021 for home carbon monoxide detectors, tested in cooperation with the Scientific Research Center for Fire Protection CNBOP-PIB and has a BSI certificate for the BS EN 50291-1:2018 standard from the British Standards Institution.
The detector also meets the requirements of the BS EN 50291-2:2019 (PN-EN 50291-2:2020) standard for use in vehicles and boats, verified by the independent British Standards Institution.
