The universal USB-C 10Gbps AXAGON CLONE MASTER 2 adapter lets you connect two drives simultaneously to a computer and offers offline cloning without a PC. Plug a 2.5"/3.5" SATA drive directly into the port, and insert an NVMe M.2 tool-free into the adapter body. Includes support for UASP, TRIM, S.M.A.R.T., booting from the drive, and USB power for M.2 and 2.5" drives. The package includes a USB-C ↔ USB-C cable with an USB-A adapter for maximum compatibility.

AXAGON CLONE MASTER 2 is a practical solution for backup, migration, and drive testing. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) interface and real throughput up to about 1,000 MB/s, it handles fast data transfers. Insert an NVMe M.2 drive without screws, and connect 2.5"/3.5" SATA drives directly to the SATA port on the adapter. The cloning direction can be switched between NVMe M.2 → SATA and SATA → NVMe M.2.

For stable SSD operation, technologies include UASP for higher performance, TRIM for long-term health, and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring. The adapter supports boot from connected drives, Auto Spindown when idle, and Turn Off after device disconnection or PC sleep. USB power is sufficient for M.2 and 2.5" drives; for 3.5" HDDs, an external 12 V / 2 A adapter is included.
