The Edifier S880DB MKII speaker system provides 88 watts of power (RMS) thanks to two TI Class D audio amplifiers. Titanium tweeter diaphragms (1.25 inches) and aluminum mid-bass drivers (3.75 inches) ensure clear highs and deep bass. MDF enclosure effectively reduces acoustic resonance and distortion, while an additional subwoofer output provides even stronger bass sound.
Thanks to the XMOS XU216 processor, the set offers digital signal processing for precise sound control. The 16-core processor allows full support for signals up to 24bit/192kHz without sampling, preserving the original sound character. The analog front end from Texas Instruments provides excellent audio conversion at 24bit/96kHz resolution.
The active speaker features an OLED display that allows monitoring of the set's performance. Buttons at the back facilitate control of volume, sound source, treble, and bass. A remote control is also available, and with the EDIFIER ConneX app, you can set the equalizer, sound effects, and more to achieve perfect sound according to your needs.
