Professional IRWIN HSS high-speed steel drill bit with titanium nitride coating for precise metal drilling. Thanks to the 135° point angle and ground flute, it offers fast chip evacuation, reduced friction, and up to 6× longer service life compared to standard bits.
The IRWIN HSS TiN metal drill bit is designed for demanding use in the workshop and industry. The TiN (titanium nitride) coating with a hardness of approx. 80 HRC significantly reduces wear, minimizes friction, and enables higher cutting speeds without loss of quality. The ground 135° tip ensures perfect centering and a stable start without the need for pre-drilling.
Thanks to the ground flute, rapid removal of drilled material is ensured, improving cooling and extending tool life. Compared to conventional HSS bits, it allows a 40–60% increase in RPM and a 10–20% increase in feed rate without a significant reduction in service life.
- Lower energy consumption and less heat generation thanks to a low friction coefficient.
- Cylindrical shank for universal clamping in standard chucks.
- Suitable for drilling steel and non-ferrous metals using rotary drilling.
