The 5/4" adapter is used to connect a pool vacuum cleaner to the filtration system through the wall fitting. It simply screws onto the wall fitting inside the pool at the outlet leading to the filtration circuit, creating a solid and functional connection.
It is suitable for manual hose vacuums as well as semi-automatic vacuums (e.g., Prostar Vac, Baracuda, and other compatible models). Once filtration is switched on, the required vacuum / water pull is created, making the vacuum fully functional.
