Filter balls are easier to handle than sand and are suitable as universal media for all types of sand filters. A 450 g pack replaces approximately 17 kg of filter sand.
The balls can be used repeatedly – once soiled, simply wash them in a regular washing machine. This reduces ongoing filtration operating costs and they are recyclable as well.
White polyethylene foam balls have a diameter of 55–60 mm and are designed as a filtration medium for pool filtration. In practice, you will appreciate their low weight and easy filling into the filter tank.
