The Prostar 4 sand filter works on a proven principle of natural filtration: water passes through the filter media, where even fine impurities are captured, and only clean water returns to the pool. For long-term stable performance, it is important to backwash the filter sand regularly – recommended at least once a week.
The filtration system consists of a durable, seamless filter tank made of high-quality polypropylene (PP), which is resistant to corrosion and commonly used pool chemicals. The equipment includes a drain valve, a pressure gauge, and an easy-to-use 6-way valve integrated into the tank lid. The unit is powered by a pump with a 200 W input, and installation is made easier by the plastic base.
