The solar cover lets sunlight through and effectively transfers heat to the water just below the surface. The bubbles act like tiny lenses that, in sunshine, support water heating. After dark, the cover helps maintain the achieved temperature and reduces heat loss.
At the same time, the cover limits unnecessary loss of water and chemicals caused by evaporation and provides basic protection against debris falling into the pool. It is made of a blue bubble polyethylene thermal-insulating cover.
