The SONOFF MINI-ZBD is an intelligent Zigbee relay with a dry contact. It does not supply voltage to the controlled circuit itself, but only switches it on or off. The NO / COM / NC outputs provide flexibility when connecting devices such as garage door operators, solenoid valves, irrigation systems, SG Ready heat pumps or low-voltage motors.
Thanks to Zigbee 3.0 communication, the module provides a fast and stable response with low power consumption. It also functions as a Zigbee router, allowing it to extend the range of the mesh network and improve the connection between more distant devices. In Home Assistant, it supports Zigbee Binding for a direct local connection with a compatible Zigbee button or sensor, enabling control without dependence on an automation server.
Time schedules and automation scenes can be created in the eWeLink and Home Assistant apps. The Detach Relay function is also available, separating the operation of the physical switch from the relay itself—the switch can then serve, for example, as an automation trigger. The range of functions may vary depending on the platform and hub used.
