The DGS-1100 switch series is an affordable solution for SOHO and SMB businesses, as well as for deployments in branch offices and conference rooms of large enterprises—anywhere basic management features are required.
Intuitive graphical user interface
The DGS-1100 switch GUI enables easy management of Layer 2 features such as VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and static link aggregation. With powerful security features like IGMP snooping, Static MAC, and Storm Control, the DGS-1100 family is a versatile tool for environments that need straightforward deployment and simple configuration without unnecessary complexity.
Easy deployment and management
D-Link’s free Network Assistant (DNA) provides information on all connected devices and speeds up initial configuration. The free D-View 7 network management system includes a license for 25 nodes and 2 probes with full access to management tools. Optional license upgrades enable expanded network and analytics capabilities.
PoE budget
The DGS-1100 switch family includes models with a large PoE budget, simplifying the installation of IP phones, wireless access points, and IP cameras.
Easy troubleshooting
With loop detection and cable diagnostics, the DGS-1100 switch family effectively supports administrators in resolving network issues. The loop detection feature identifies loops on a port and automatically shuts them down.
Cable diagnostics can test the quality of copper cables, recognize cable types, and detect faults.
Energy savings
D-Link Green technology allows the DGS-1100 Smart series to save energy without compromise. Most models in this series use a fanless design for quiet and energy-efficient operation. All are compliant with IEEE 802.3az and feature link status detection and PoE scheduling (except for models DGS-1100-05PD and DGS-1100-08P).
