With the correct pH, the water is more pleasant for the skin and eyes and also supports the effectiveness of treatment agents. If the pH is too high, milky cloudiness (calcium precipitation), reduced effectiveness of oxygen-based products, and filtration problems may occur. Conversely, low pH can cause increased corrosion of metal parts and fading of materials.

Recommended use and dosage

• Check the pH value at least twice a week and always before adding oxygen-based products.
• To increase pH by 0.2, add approx. 10 g per 1 m³ (1,000 l) of water (with soft water, a higher dose may be needed).
• First dissolve the calculated amount thoroughly in water in a plastic jug, then slowly pour it into the hot tub near the water inlet with the filtration running.
• Measure the pH only after the water has mixed completely (depending on volume and filtration performance). Repeat until the pH is within the required range.

Important: Until the water is fully mixed and the pH is adjusted to the required value, no people may be present in the hot tub. Do not mix with other products.
Tip: 100 g of product corresponds to approximately a measuring scoop with a volume of 150 ml.
