The AXAGON ADSA-M2C22 docking station is designed for fast SSD management during data migration, OS installations, service work, or backups. It supports operation of two NVMe M.2 SSDs or two SATA M.2 SSDs (NVMe + SATA cannot be combined at the same time). When connected to a computer, both drives appear as two separate drives that you can use independently.
Computer-free cloning takes just a few steps: insert the source drive into the Source slot, the target drive into Target, press the button, and monitor the progress on the LED indicators. Cloning is performed block-by-block (LBA), so the time depends on the capacity of the source drive. The result is an exact copy including the operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux). The target drive must have equal or larger capacity than the source drive.
For stable performance, the station is equipped with the modern Realtek RTL9220DP chipset and an active foldable fan with magnetic attachment. The aluminum body helps dissipate heat, reduces the risk of overheating, and limits thermal throttling. You will also appreciate broad compatibility including USB4 and Thunderbolt 3/4/5, plus support for UASP, TRIM, and S.M.A.R.T.
